We’re excited to bring your pet to life in a custom rug tufting workshop! To ensure your design turns out beautifully, please follow these image guidelines when submitting your pet’s photo.

🐾 The quality of your photo is crucial to creating a clear, well-defined rug. Please check these guidelines before uploading your image:

 

LIGHTING – Well-Lit & Clear

📸 Take your pet’s photo in a bright, well-lit area or under natural light.

Avoid dark shadows, dim lighting, or strong backlighting, as this can make it extremely difficult for us to capture details accurately.

 

POSE – Eye Level & Full Face Visible

🐶🐱 Capture your pet at eye level, looking straight at the camera.

The whole face and neck should be visible, with no extreme angles or cropped-out features.

 

IMAGE QUALITY – High Resolution & Sharp

🖼️ Use a high-resolution, non-blurry image so we can capture all the fine details.

Close-up shots work best to highlight unique facial features like fur patterns, eye shape, and expressions.

COLOUR – Check Accuracy Before Uploading

🎨 We will do our best to match the colours of your pet, so try and make sure your photo accurately represents their fur colour.

Although you are free to choose any colour from our yarn collection to make your rug, we do ask that you avoid using heavily filtered or colour-edited images.

 

ACCESSORIES – Will Be Included Unless Noted

🐾 Any accessories visible in the photo (collars, leashes, bows, hats, or outfits) will be included in the final rug design. If you prefer to remove any accessories, please mention this in your submission.

 

 

 

 

Additional Notes:

🚫 Avoid photos with busy backgrounds – A simple, neutral background helps us focus on your pet’s features.

⚠️ Only one pet per rug – We currently do not support multi-pet designs in a single rug.
